Late examines the absurdity of manufactured urgency in corporate life. The businessman is caught somewhere between intense focus and anxiety, completely invested in stakes that have been constructed around him.

The use of flash creates a harsh, immediate sense of urgency. Translating that image into oil introduces a deliberate slowness, holding the moment in place and creating enough distance to see the pressure for what it is: something constructed, repetitive, and ultimately quite absurd.
